A cloudy Wednesday afternoon

Wow, Argentina is pretty industrialized. I have this terrible notion of Latin American countries being extremely poor. And I tend to forget how Argentina was one of the most richest and successful Latin American countries back in day. Well, until the ridiculous falkland/malvinas war.

Bro, i know exactly what you mean. The pollution just becomes a part of you in these cities. If it doesn’t kill me, my lungs’ll be THAT MUCH STRONGER when i return to the states, iA!!!

Aina: Yeah, Argentina is fairly industrialized. The US and Argentina actually used to be at roughly the same levels of development in the early 1900s. And then stuff happened (you can Wikipedia it). Although it’s definitely not as rich as the US or Canada, it has a higher standard of living than most Latin American countries. The city of Buenos Aires in particular is really developed, but that can’t be said about a lot of places in the interior and even the suburbs.

Alia: I had a hacking cough the first three or four weeks I was here. I coughed literally every two minutes or so. It sucked.

Wow…I had such a romanticized idea of Argentina! That looks like it could be Karachi!

hasan personaly I wouldn’t beable to deal with seeing that everyday , I hate citys personaly I prefer towns

I’m used to living in smaller cities and in houses, so I still haven’t gotten used to this. I mean, I love Buenos Aires, but it’s so noisy. And there’s so much light at night you can’t see the stars. It’s just not natural.
