Tariq: Overall, American Muslims are very economically well-off. We have higher median incomes than the rest of the population and tend to live in well-to-do areas. Yes, there are poor and disenfranchised American Muslims, but just think about how many Muslims go to top universities in the US and are doctors, engineers, teachers, etc.

And your perception of Jews is just downright stereotypical and ignorant. There is no big Jewish conspiracy. Because of their history of dealing with bigotry and genocide, is it really any surprise they work together to help their own people? Minorities tend to stick together, including Muslim minorities. Plus, why criticize a group, especially one that has been oppressed for so long, for being financially successful? Isn’t that what most of us strive for? Yeah, I have problems with Israel’s policy regarding the Palestinian people, but we can’t confuse Israel’s political and economic interests with those of all the Jews around the world. Like Muslims, Jews are not a homogeneous group with the same interests.
