El musulmán yanqui va a tu barrio

Aug 29th, 2007, 09:49 pm

I hope to travel throughout Latin America one day to meet and document the numerous Muslim communities in the region. Until I figure out how and when I’ll undertake my journey, Argentina will have to do. Hey, I don’t exactly have thousands of dollars laying around.

Maybe I’ll be the Muslim Che Guevara and ride a motorcycle from country to country.

people try to hide the fact that che was a burrito delivery boy for a 5-star restaurant back then. that’s the real reason he rode his motorcycle around.

Serene: I’m hosting WordPress on my own server, so maybe that’s why the Dashboard isn’t showing up. And yes, I’m a computer whiz of sorts. I wanna visit the different Muslim communities across Latin America to let people know they exist. Not many people think that there are Muslims don’t here, even other Muslims. Plus, I like learning about how Muslims across the world live. Ha ha, someday I’ll find a girl that makes great fish.

Kaiser: The Argentine government has spent millions of pesos to cover up the fact that Che was a burrito delivery boy. They even destroyed all pics of him eating burritos. It’s even crazier since hardly anyone eats burritos south of Mexico.

Shahrzad: You definitely need to come down to at least one of the many parts of Latin America. It’s such an interesting and amazing place. There’s so much cultural and geographical diversity here. It’s really a place where all the world’s cultures meet.

That sounds like a great idea! I envy the freedom you boys have over us Muslim girls!

Don’t forget Che’s motorcycle broke down though…
